Crashed car on Sunday.Reported accident to Aviva on Monday by phone. Directed to body shop same day. Car written off. Money in bank account on Saturday. No argument. No hassle. No form filling. How do I get the MultiCar discount? While you’re getting your online car insurance quote, we will ask you the following question: ‘Does any other member of your household currently have a Private Car policy with Aviva Direct?’ Simply answer ‘Yes’ to get our MultiCar discount. Please note that at a later stage we will ask you for the policy number of the other Private Car policy in your household. Can I insure more than two vehicles with Aviva MultiCar? Yes. The MultiCar discount is available on the second and subsequent car insurance policies. Do my car insurance renewal dates need to be the same to avail of Aviva MultiCar? No, we can give you a car insurance quote for all your vehicles even if they have different renewal dates. You can then insure them with us as your current car insurance cover runs out. Do I have to make the renewal date for all my vehicles the same? No, the renewal dates of your vehicles will not change. How does the no-claim discount work with Aviva MultiCar? No-claim discount is earned for each car insured individually under our MultiCar policy. It can’t be shared or used on any other cars on this or any other policy. The no-claim discount must be provided by the main driver of each car. If there are two or more drivers in your household insured with Aviva Multicar, then each policyholder will retain their existing no claims discount, if applicable, subject to a minimum premium of €280.

Yes, the car insurance premium can be paid for each individual policy. It can be paid by monthly direct debit or by annual credit or debit card payment.
