Car on finance with free insurance bmw
Car insurance can often add a sizeable sum to your motoring outgoings. Fortunately, many car manufacturers offer to chip in with insurance contributions and free policies to help get you up and running. Here’s a full list of cars with free insurance.
A number of these offers require you to buy a car through a Personal Contract Purchase (PCP) finance agreement. These deals involve an initial deposit and a series of monthly payments over an agreed period. As with any form of personal finance, you should carefully consider the terms of a contract before signing. Our dedicated personal contract purchase guide will give you more information while our PCP calculator can give you a better idea how much your new car will cost.
Peugeot – insurance included in PCP deal
Peugeot’s popular Just Add Fuel deal could offer a simple way into new car ownership. This three-year PCP deal combines insurance, road tax, servicing and warranty costs into a single monthly payment. These details have been obtained from the Peugeot finance website.
The offer is available on a wide range of new Peugeot models. The 108, 208, 2008, 308 hatchback and 308 SW Estate all qualify – even the French brand’s diminutive 208 GTi hot hatch is included. Drivers aged between 18 and 21 must have a telematics black box fitted to their new car, however, to benefit from this deal.

Citroen – insurance included in PCP deal
Citroen’s Simply Drive – like Peugeot’s Just Add Fuel – allows customers to get behind the wheel of almost all of the French brand’s new cars without the worry of additional insurance, road tax or servicing costs. Citroen doesn’t currently offer telematics insurance catered specifically for very young drivers, however.
This PCP deal will cover the cost of your motoring related outgoings – except for fuel costs – for a three-year period, after which you’ll be given the option to upgrade to a new car, or pay a final balloon payment to keep your existing vehicle. Full terms and conditions are available on the Citroen Finance website.

SEAT Ibiza FR – first year’s free insurance
Buyers of a new SEAT Ibiza can currently take advantage of 12 months free insurance courtesy of the Spanish manufacturer. Drivers under the age of 25 must have a telematics box fitted to their new car to qualify for this deal and must pay a £200 insurance contribution. If you’re aged between 18 and 20, however, this figure increases to £300.
This offer is available on all Ibiza FR models including SC, five-door and ST estate versions, bought through retail purchase and personal contract hire leases. Choose the latter, however, and you’ll be limited to just the 1.2-litre petrol model with 89hp. This offer is valid until 2 April 2017 – full terms and conditions ca be viewed on the SEAT Finance website.

Suzuki Ignis – first year’s free insurance
Suzuki’s latest supermini, the Ignis, is now available with a year’s free insurance if you’re aged between 21 and 79. Unlike many deals listed here, you’ll not need to have a telematics black box fitted to your car. This deal is open to all drivers aged over 21 providing you’ve had no fault or theft claims within the last three years and have held a driving license for at least two years.
This offer is available on all 1.2-litre Ignis models bought through personal contract purchase agreements before 30 April 2017. Full terms and conditions can be read on the Suzuki Finance website.

Just Add Fuel is a packaged deal from Peugeot, similar to our own Fuel & Go. It includes a brand new car, insurance and road tax, but what makes it different is added roadside assistance. You just add the fuel.
The scheme offers two financing options. The first is a personal lease, with no option to own the car – when the agreement ends, you hand it back.
The second is essentially a Personal Contract Purchase deal, with the option to own the car. Both Just Add Fuel deals involve a three year term and include Peugeot's model range, including the 108, 308, 2008 and 3008.
Citroen's SimplyDrive scheme works on a similar basis, providing a package that includes a brand new car, insurance, road tax (VED), servicing and more.
