Aviva were great in getting the claim lodged and the hire car arranged. The Motofix repair centre were terrible with communication and customer service. If I had to do it all over gain I'd probably ask to go elsewhere. It's now about 45 days since the accident and the vehicle is still not complete. This is now scheduled for Friday but I have had to do all the chasing. I requested that Aviva follow up with them but this never happened either.

Good value

Unfortunately you only find out how good an insurance company is when you have to make a claim. The rating I have given is based upon the service received when taking out the policy. I hope that I do not have to find out if their claims handling matches up to the sales pitch.

  • Black box insurance: You can save by having your driving monitored through a black box policy; here is how it works.

Should you add extras?

You can customise your policy and extend your cover by adding extra benefits. These include:

  • Legal cover - here is how to work out if you need it
  • Breakdown cover
  • Cover for lost or stolen keys
  • No claims protection
